PW Guide Article: Keeping the Peace in Your Bridal Party

IM NOT SO CONCERNED ABOUT MY BRIDES MAIDS BUT I AM ABOUT MY GROOM WHAT ABOUT THE GROOMSMEN WHO DO NOT COOPERATE? WE STARTED OUT WITH 14MEN AND NOW WERE DOWN TO 11 AND SEEMS BECAUSE WERE IN LOVE SO  MUCH HE SPENDS TIME WITH ME AND NOW THE MEN FEEL THEY HAVE LOST A FRIEND AND NOW IM FEELING AS IF ITS MY FAULT FOR ALL THIS WHAT DO I DO TO MAKE IT BETTER AND HE DOES FEEL OK BUT YET I KNOW HE FEELS THAT HIS FRIENDS ARE NOT THERE FOR HIM ....FEELN LEFT OUT!

I'm so glad that my ladies are indeed that. They care more about my happiness then anything else.

The get-togethers thing is so totally true.  It's a great chance for them to bond.  I have a friend who did this while we were making STDs and I am trying to do this as much as I possibly can for my girls before the wedding.  Huzzah!

I wish my bridal party was like this. It feels like there is a battle and with some and they want me to do things their way not understanding that this is MY wedding. They are from the grooms side and cause me many problems with every aspect of my wedding from the dresses to the bridal shower and bachelorette party. It's ridiculous how much stress and problems they cause me but when one of them got married it was all about her and no one else mattered and she is the same way today. My sister is my MOH and she said talking to them about the bachelorette party has been a nightmare. As sad as it sounds I can't wait for all of this to be over. Since I can't get rid of them, any advice?

These are some great ideas, but anyone have a clue how to keep the peace with bridesmaids in 3 different states and one in another country?!  Email just doesn't seem to help them realize the whole unit...

my brides mate are my cousins and one friend who is not fussy so we are all getting together so perfectly i tried to keep it in the family as we know each other already

My bridesmaids have been amazing right from the start! Infact I am learning the art of asking for help!! My instant reaction is just to get in there and do things on my own, but I am learning that the process is better had when done with others, having fun :) Here's to hoping that not too many crazy things happen between now and the wedding, a mere 86 days away according to my finance!! Delegation huh... hehe

Well my bridesmaids suck! They truly are the worst. Being 2 weeks out I much rather they continue to do nothing and show up on my day and don't piss me off day of. Lol! Just how I feel. Just wait until its time for them to get married. SMH! You think since you've grew up with these ladies everything will run smoothly. Nope! I just can't wait until my big day so I can concentrate on the good part. FI's guys are the best! They have been there for him every step of the way. No complaints. Just tell them what they need to do and they are there.

My MOH just recently got married, so I assumed she would be my biggest support system and willing to help me the most... Boy was I wrong. She is depressed that her wedding is over and couldn't act more uninterested in the entire process. And when she decides to put her two cents in, it does nothing but stress me out because she tells me "at this point, I already had that done!" Well help me!!
