I made a lot of these mistakes before our wedding and it turned out fine! I didn't wear the brand I chose until my trial 1 wk before the wedding, wore a LOT more makeup than usual because I wanted to look like the celebrity version of myself rather than just lil ole me and had gold highlighter on just about every surface of my body. It can work out alright!

i can't afford an MUA so i plan on doing my own, but all these tips seem obvious, i was really hoping for a little more info.

The idea of trying your makeup on in advance is wonderful...I had my MUA do a trial run for our engagement photos and it was a fantastic idea.
