Great article!!  I am actually looking into a photobooth for my wedding and this had some great points that I didn't even think of!!

we wanted a PB.

too bad it was out of our budget.

I'm thinking about a more DIY style with a polaroid camera (which I already own), a backdrop, chalkboards, and chalk. The only problem is someone actually has to take the pictures.

Cool!  Something to look into for sure.

For anyone who thinks a photobooth is a nice extra, but out of the budget - THINK AGAIN!  We were in this camp and only decided to do the photobooth at the last minute since we had stuck so close to our original budget during the whole planning process and were even a smidge under budget.

Looking back the photobooth was one of the BEST decisions we made and should have budgeted for it in the first place! My #1 goal of our wedding was for the guests to have a good time, and the photobooth played a huge roll!  My advice would be to cut back on expensive flowers, centerpieces, programs, menus or other details we brides fret over that most people don't care about to make the photobooth fit in your budget!

I had a photo booth and it was a big hit!! Our guests loved it. Those of you on the fence, f you can afford it....do it! So worth it!
