for my 500th post....FI's friend's had their bird cage of cards stolen from their reception.  lots of cash & checks were in there.  we've always had that in the back of our minds while we plan the layout of the reception.  good article!

we plan on putting everything in that back of my mom's car once all the gifts/cards are given

THa't good advise. I was totally planning my gift table to be near the entrance. that's going to change.
