Seasonal Flowers for Your Wedding

If you go with flowers that are in bloom when you get married, you'll save a bundle. Here's what's blooming during all times of the year.

What kind of flowers are in the white bouquet above?  They are beautiful!

They look like peonies to me, which are absolutely gorgeous!

My wedding is on September 5, 2010. Does any one know of budget friendly flowers during that time?

Those are probably Cabbage Roses, the next best thing to Peonies.

The top white bouquet has calla lillies in it.  Calla lillies come in regular size and mini's.  It may have green orchids around the bottom.  Hard to tell.  Baby Breath in the center.

I'm getting Married June 16, 2012. I would LOVE to have my FAV flowers the center of attention. Does anyone know if Lilacs still grow in June. Our bush out front did not bloom this year at all so I couldn't tell. If they don't where would be a good place to order? Thanks soo much.

 Blessings,

Caitlynn

Caitlynn,

It depends on where you live. I am from the Midwest and they are finished by May (my favs too and I am getting married the day before you). Last year I lived in the Northwest and they were just blooming in June!
