anyone heard of any more guest gripes??

The biggest one I've heard is "table full of strangers." Seems like a lot of guests gripe about not being able to spend any time with the bride and groom (but I'm like, "HELLO, they have 200 people to spend time with today!!")... Also, the meal is always a big hot button, as is the bar (or lack thereof). Oh, and I HATE not being able to hear the ceremony, especially the vows.

I agree with not being able to hear the ceremony. The point of being a guest is to celebrate with the bride and groom which is hard to do if you dont know whats going on.

Having an outdoor reception that goes into the evening without providing heaters may be very uncomfortable for guests.  I remember attending a June wedding in Southern California where this was the case and the only thing that I remember about the wedding is being cold

Yup...DJ keeps the party moving...I hate when there's a bad DJ

When things run really late, and dinner is not served until much after a normal dinner time would be one I've heard and experienced a couple of times.

Or exactly the opposite of MommyLynda...being too hot! 3pm outside weddings in July in Memphis...ugh! All you can think about is how sweaty you feel!

I totally agree with the speech that never ends!!! I hate that! 

What can I do to make sure it doesn't happen at my wedding though?
