the lyrics are right on!  this could be the moment - it's like saying - there's no time like the present and just to enjoy what you have b/c tomorrow is never promised

I had to hear it twice to get the melody and lyrics burned into my memory.  I like the simplicity of the song because it starts slow and then it speeds up when it reaches the chorus.  I definitely like that.  I like the lyrics as well, because it is funny how moments in life can be defined as turning points when one never realizes it.  Like the way the song starts.  Only in hindsight one can see things clearer.  The song is catchy, simple in a good way (Yesterday is a simple song as well), and melodious.  I am definitely looking forward to your new album when it is released.  Verve did a smart thing by signing you up.

If Ear Candy were a word, I'd look it up in an online dictionary, click the "read aloud" button, and next thing I know, Katharine McPhee's Lifetime would start playing in my ears. Yeah, I think I would die happy. But no, seriously, How can you NOT be happy after listening to this song? It is summer sunshine, rainbows, puppies, love, and all other good things combined with a catchy hook and breezy, contemporary production. It's clever without being pretentious or a "try hard", and it's beautiful and inspiring without being cheesy or overtly emotional. And it's not so breezy that it skips on the emotional and vocal dynamics inherent.

The song goes "breathe breathe breathe before you get old, sing sing sing a song that you know, etc..." It tell us to live life! Yes, it will hurt sometimes, and yes you will hit some bad times, but keep on going with "no regrets" because you never know when "this could be the moment that turns into a lifetime."

Katharine here is the most vocally restrained and comfortable on a track than I have heard her thus far. Her tone is easy, warm, and so relaxed, I swear I can hear her smiling through the song. And I'll bet she is smiling, having written the song herself. She sings it like she believes it. She captures something uniquely her own here, aided greatly by the songs masterful production courtesy of co-writer Krisin "Boots" Ottestad. If after listening to this, you are not humming "ah uh ah uh uh ah uh oh oh oh" under your breath, something is plain wrong!

Congratulations Katharine. This song should be on television, uplifting contestants on reality shows and urging the good folks out there to buy ipods. It also needs to be in family movies. I deem this "instant classic."

Love the song, its very different from her first CD but I like it! The lyrics make you want to close your eyes and imagine you and your hubby getting old together and living through rough patches that come along that way.

I work in radio and I have to listen to alot of news songs and artists and it gets old, but this song makes me smile and I like that :)

I love how easy sounding this song is. It kinda makes you want to bob your head along with the music. It really talks about living life and not letting things get in the way of enjoying all of the moments you love. Like snuggling against someone you love in the middle of the night snd singing out loud even though people are listening.

I love this song!!! It is exactly what you feel especially when she says "differences are differences" it means just let everything go. I really love this song the verses in the song says are the things you need to realize when you are accepting someone into your life as your lifetime partner. One additional verse I love is "Highs and lows will come your way, There's no need to be afraid" such a great verse I was afraid to love again because of the uncertainty. When I met my FH he showed me there was no need to be afraid. OMG!!!! I love this song I can continue to pick each verse a part. Love IT!!!!!
