I have to agree about being able to keep the guest list super-short. We stuck to family and close family friends, and I must say everyone else we explained the situation to seemed thankful not to have to worry about making the trip ~ and a little sad they couldn't see us married.

What I think is super-cool that I wish we had done is the webcasting services that exist now ~ a bunch of people can log into a secure, password-protected site and watch the whole ceremony.

I know that a ton of resort destinations offer this service now, but there are companies on-line that will stream your videographers images in real-time as long as you have access to a laptop the videog can plug into.
