These two danced to Pretenders - I'll Stand By You. The lyrics are so hauntingly beautiful and professes a really profoundly supportive love.

BTW, I'm betting they'll be playing Beyonce's "Single Ladies" around the time of the bouquet toss a lot this year. (:

Carrie Underwood has a good version of "I'll Stand By You" as well!

Okay, so for the father-daughter dance, I was thinking "My Hero" by the Foo Fighters.  As for the first dance, I really would like "Starlight" by Muse.

All of these songs sound nice, but we want something a bit more modern. I bridal waltz will be to Nickleback, and My Hero byFoo Fighters for the father daughter dance.

I;m thinking about Shania Twain's "From This Moment" for my Processional.  It's for an outdoor wedding so I think this would work for just me and MOH and flower girl.

My FH and I love music, so we've got things picked out.

Prelude--Select songs from the soundtrack for Pride and Prejudice (the most recent movie), simply because a) I'm an English teacher who loves British lit, and b) we've had some connections thus far between the novel and book--we took an engagement shot where we stole a kiss behind the novel, and my profile picture has been said to be reminescent of a scene from the film.

Processional--An instrumental version of "At the Beginning" from the animated film Anastasia; to me, it exemplifies what a relationship/marriage truly is.

Recessional--God Gave Me You by Dave Barnes; he sent me a link to the video the night before he proposed to me.
