PW Guide Article: Wedding Reception: Creating the Perfect Seating Chart

i'm having an extreemly hard time with the seating chart. the problem is mostly revolving around my mother, basically she wants to sit with all of her friends that she has invited to the wedding! and she has allready promised all of her friends she would be sitting with them! she doesn't understand that family sits closest to the bride and groom and friends sit in the back, so now i don't know what to do. i can't put her in the front with all of her friends becuase that would be rude to my other guests but i can't put her in the back with her friends either because her and my father are paying for the wedding. does anyone have any possible solutions to this problem?!?!?!
