Our venue is for our ceremony and reception.. so we just said "yup, it's perfect and pretty, and just what I envision. Let's book it"... then we looked at the fine print ;).  But they don't do anything there, excpet be your DOC kind of.. We had to hire outside vendors, etc.. so there's no "hidden" fees or anything.  You can upgrade your plates, etc if you want, and that costs a little bit, but not terrible.

We went with an outdoor courtyard right on the water...only $350.  A real steal, but we have to bring in everything...but I am constantly on the search for deals and steals! Just got the hookup for free tables/no renting.  That will save us like $300...and our caterer supplies all basic linens, glass, flat and dinner ware as well as the 3 meat buffet for a $30 tag...no cake cut fee...good food too!
