PW Guide Article: What to Wear at Your Rehearsal

Timely!  I'm just starting to look into what I'll be wearing!

I purchased a beautiful chocolate taffeta dress, but now it will be in a private home, so I will pick something cute, casual, and comfortable!

I'm wearing a knee- length Ralph Lauren fitted cream dress. I have 3 inch slate gray heels to wear with it! I wanted to look like a hip bride-to-be. I'm ALWAYS in jeans and I never really dress up. So not only is this make over it's my transformation into being the HOT wife. Lol. Being cute at your rehearsal dinner is more than a great chance to stand out.

Formal - old Prom dresses, really? Has anyone ever worn an old Prom dress to a rehearsal dinner? That just seems like too much to me. Dress up but not too dressy.

Your mom's wedding dress?  Seriously?  That seems a little over the top, IMO

The fun thing about weddings in general and rehearsal dinners specifically (since that's what this article is about) is that each girl can create her own style and look. That's part of the fun and excitement. Everyone's style is different and what works for some may not work for others. To each her own! : )

I actually am wearing a bridesmaid dress for my rehersal dinner, lol! But you can't tell, I ordered it in ivory & its just above the knee, super cute & pretty casual. I'm wearing it with with nude color shoes. I was having a hard time picking what to wear & the woman at the store that I bought my wedding dress at made the suggestion of finding a cute bridesmaid dress & ordering ivory. I'm only nervous that it will be windy because our dinner is on a rooftop & the dress is short & flowy...
