Does your real estate agent always make the effort to drive to your house to sign offers, contracts, etc?

Reason I ask is because my real estate agent lives 30 minutes south of my home and did not hand-deliver our fully executed contract.  She had already emailed me the contract a day prior, so this was just the hardcopy.

Instead of hand-delivering it to my home, she asked if I could pick it up at her office since it is on my way home from work.  I figured this was logical...  However, everyone keeps telling me that I'm being too nice and should have told her to drive to my home.

I know this is a really silly question but people are telling me that my real estate agent is lazy and we should give her the boot.   On previous occasions, she has driven to my home when it was important - like signing offers, signing the contract, etc....

What are your thoughts?

I don't know real estate etiquette in the US, but in England they wouldn't do anything like that, we were always expected to go to them

No my realtor never hand delivers I think it just depends on the realtor. I don't believe its expected. Don't get caught up on those shows on hgtv it never happens that way. Trust me!

Thanks for the response, guys..  I don't feel so badly now.  Not sure why my family are being such tough critics.

My only expectations from my realtor is that he/she is on top of what's important like getting the contracts signed, responding to my phone calls and emails, being knowledgeable, great negotiating skills,  etc.....
