Question - Bridal Shower Thank You Cards

Hi ladies! I am so sorry that I've been absent for so long - I've been so busy with working, planning, taking classes, and now I'm blogging! But I've been checking back once in a while, just haven't had time to comment much. I do miss all of the familiar usernames - so happy to see most of you still here!

I do have a question: My bridal shower is coming up and this might be a silly question, but do I send out thank you cards immediately after the shower for all of the gifts? Or do I thank them in the thank you card that I plan on sending after the wedding?

I don't mind sending two seperate thank yous- I just want to know what is customary. I'm the first of our friends to get married!

Separate cards and you send them as soon as you can. Ettiquette states within 2 weeks.

Definitely send out thank yous for all bridal shower gifts received and preferably within a week or two after the shower.

We are renewing our vows and even though no one will be bringing us gifts, I will be sending out thank you cards to everyone who comes because they took the time to come.
