I allowed one request and that was the last one.  Some of the girls wanted to hear a song that a group dance song, DJ didn't play the one they were used to and they got mad.  They were my BMs, but I told them NO MORE REQUESTS. They were pissed, but I didn't care - my wedding, my rules - yes, I was a total bitch.  LOL!

The DJ was great - they were just looking for music that was NOT wedding appropriate - oh well, their problem, not mine.

Yes ... we actually sent out request cards in the invites to be returned with the RSVP .... I wanted all the music played to be songs that not only we wanted but the guests wanted too .... I told the DJ once he went through the list he could take any other requests .... I wanted a packed dance floor even when I wasn't on it  :)

Being from the south, we will have A LOTTTT of Swamp Pop music. That's what FI's parents listen too.

If it were up to FI and I, we would have a total rocked out reception. But I do want people to get on the dance floor and have fun.

We are going to let people put in requests, they just have to be tastefull :)

no, no requests. i know the best man will do his best to get something terrible played just to be "that guy" lol lol lol

LOL, The good thing about our DJ is that he is a really good friend (his wife is one of my bridesmaids) and he knows what kind of music we want and will not play anything that we dont want...

no requests, but we picked such a great mix of songs (who doesn't say that) so i hope everyone is happy.  FI & I love music and had so much fun picking them out. we'll never leave the dance floor.  if people want to see us...come to the dance floor.  LOL

Ha!!  foxy - that was me -  if they wanted to talk to me , say bye etc ...they had to find me on the dance floor :)

kind of. we're using doing the music ourselves, but we're going to let guest request songs on the rsvp cards.

sam -  getting back the rsvp's with the requests is sooooo much fun ... DH would call me at work and tell me how many RSVP's came in teh mail ...and Id tell him to open them and tell me what they requested ... :)
