Rank in order of importance

I'm curious to know how everyone would rank the different elements of a wedding.  So here's the list...rank them in order of importance...#1 being most important :-) If you don't want to rank all of them, then just rank your top 3 and your bottom 3 :-)

(disclaimer...this list is only about the "material" elements of the wedding...not the really important things like the groom/family/friends/marriage after the wedding/etc :-D)

Dress

Flowers

Invitation/Stationary elements

Reception location/decor

Wedding cake

Bridal party attire

Ceremony location/decor

Food

Alcohol/beverages

Photography

Videography

Groom's attire

Music

Favors

I would rank 'em like this:

  1. Ceremony Location
  2. Reception Location
  3. Invitation (I believe that it sets the tone for your event)
  4. Photography
  5. Videography
  6. Music/DJ/MC  Our DJ ran our whole event
  7. I prefer Open Bars at weddings
  8. Dress
  9. Bridal Party Attire
  10. Grooms Attire
  11. Favors, transportation, food, Cake.  I've never found banquet food served to 100 plus people to be "GREAT" and the cake was more a part of the decor...LOL.  We made a donation to Charity, we didn't do favors.
