RANT- HORRIBLE VENDOR

DO NOT GO TO WENDYS BRIDAL!!

  So I ignored the advice of my friends who had delt with them in the past, or had alteration issues with them and bought my dress/bridesmaid dresses there.  Yesterday they called me to inform me that "They didnt order my bridesmaid dress, and if I want to get it in time I need to pay them $60 rush shipping" ARE YOU EFFIN SERIOUS! I personally face to face told them that my last bridesmaid would be getting her dress in New york and not there. That was their excuse for not ordering it. I reitterated that I told them. She said (the manager) that I didnt say that, and she wouldnt have made a mistake like that.

 Needless to say I am flabbergasted at her (Ann) attitude and snobbishness. She said the most that she would do is split the cost of rush shipping with me. Its not about the money, its only $30, its the fact that SHE didnt order my dress, sooo why do I have to pay for their screwup. I even offered to bring up my Bridesmaid that was with me at the time getting her dress that heard me tell her. Her response" well of course she would say that, shes your friend."

I WANT TO SCREAM!!!! Then to boot, I slipped and said "are you "F"ing serious. She said," I dont need to listen to this from someone like you" and hung up the phone. OMG!! I have bought 4 bridesmaid dresses there from past weddings and my wedding dress from there, always been super friendly and nice. And she says "someone like me" WHT does that mean? Then hangs up.

BUYER BEWARE- DO NOT GO THERE

Wow that's awful! I'm sorry girl! You and your bridal party are spending a lot of money there, so they should treat you with more respect!! I guess you have no choice but to still go with them for your bridesmaid dresses?? Because otherwise I'd go somewhere else & pay THEM the darn Rush shipping! Did you eventually get the issue resolved?
I think I'll take your advice & NOT go there

oh no... totally just ordered a BM dress from them for my friends wedding... will definitely contact her about doing follow ups with them.  Thanks for the heads up.  Definitely leave a vendor review on here.

I went up again today and guess what...I was right. The other girl that was working when we got Angies dress, completely called the manager out and said she remembered it bc we talked about the bill levkoff outlet. (booooooooyyyyahhhhh) So, I am getting the dresses April 1st rush shipping and not paying for it. Still super pissed off about the way I was treated though.

I contacted the corporate office and am waiting for a callback

update: Angie finally got her dress, not on April 1st, but April 21st!!! And- instead of a size 16 (like her receipt says) its a size 18.  I think they knew better than to go there with me. My wedding is 3 weeks away. I walked in didnt say a word. Just looked pissed, slammed down the reciept with size 16 on it, and said. "how are you going to fix this? Seriously, dont piss me off right now."  So they are rush alterations Thurs. They promised it'd be done.

Im so over this stupid company, I just want to never see them again.

I'm angry just reading this!! That is NO way to do business. People are so ignorant.

Thank VJ- I can at least take solice that on the knot board I lost them at least 5 wedding dress sales.
