Our Reception did not go as smoothly as our Ceremony. During cocktail hour we were taking pictures, and our guests were enjoying themselves. Right when we were about to make our entrance, it began to downpour! Luckily I had tents, but the rain
was so intense that the tents were not enough. We ended up having to move the reception to a 2nd location just steps away, but it did cause for some interuption, and the DJ had a big gap of time that he was not playing. My guests however were
AWESOME! It did not keep our spirits down, and once we were settled in the new location, we continued the party and boy did I dance!!!! The rain didn't keep us down! I had a great time, and everyone commented on what a great party it was!

That's not the rain, that's the waterfall ;)

and then the rain began...
Here we are arriving to the cocktail in the rain

First
dance after we relocated
I hired a band to play for an hour as a surprise to our guest to do what is called an "hora loca." They were phenomenal!!!!! They played a mix of samba, and brazilian drum beats. I had also ordered masks and beads online to hand out during their
performance. It was sooooo much fun!!!DH didn't even know about them. It was a WONDERFUL surprise for everyone and our guests are still raving about them!

I have never danced soooo much!! It felt like I was doing Zumba but I loved it!
Here is the only pic I have right now after I changed into my 2nd dress. What a relief after all that dancing!
