OMG, DH and I spent 3 hours doing our baby registry at Babies R Us on Saturday.  Talk about baby overload haha.  We were couple #11 to walk in that day to do a registry and saw about 4 other couples after us too.  Crazy day.  It was exhausting but we had a lot of fun chatting with all the other first time parents about not having a clue what brand/model/etc to pick. haha

How fun! I can't wait to do our registry but at the same time, it kinda seems overwhelming with all the different stuff you need!

Haha you have no idea.  I think we stood and looked at diaper bags for like 20 minutes, diaper bags.  Seriously? haha  It's like baby overload.

Unlike our wedding registry, there was no way DH and I can do it on a whim at a store.  There was so much research to do before deciding what was best for us.  In the end, we did about 95% of our registry online at Buy Buy Baby and Amazon.  We still need to decide on bedding (see prior post) and a glider, both of which I would like to see and feel before deciding. 

I am looking forward to this day but also fearing it!  So many choices.  dorkmeetsnerd--that is smart to research and then add online.

Our friend has offered to come with (she has a DD), and give us some helpful hints as we shop which will be nice.

I lasted about an hour in the store and then I got so overwhelmed I had to leave. Quite a few of the items I chose in store were changed online after research was done but I did enjoy asking the specialist her opinions on a few things.
