Are you taking your rings or buying fake rings when you go on your HM?

I have seen stories of ppl wearing them and then they get lost in the water or stolen etc. What are u guys doing? I dont want to part with my ring but Idk if i trust the safes either

I bought a fake set from Overstock.com for when we travel. I'd rather leave my real rings at home, safe and sound.

Hmm, I never thought about getting a fake ring, but you guys are right. I might just leave my e-ring/wedding band home.

I think going to las vegas would be fine wearing our rings, but just in case im going to get a fake set because you never know and I would be sooo upset if I lost my rings! Ugh! Lol!

I wore my rings to Hawaii and Antigua and I brought them home with me. I asked DH before traveling if he wanted me to lease my rings home but he said no way, that's what insurance is for. I think the only way I would leave them home is if it was dangerous to have them on. But I've totally seen lots of brides with a dual set just incase. Doesn't hurt!

DH and I each bought fake rings (his wedding band is more expensive than mine!) for our HM and other travels. We didn't want to trust the safe with something that precious, and we certainly didn't want to wear our rings climbing waterfalls and river tubing. We bought all three from Overstock, and total they were less than $50. Definitely worth it :)

ETA: Our rings are also insured - it was a matter of sentimentality that convinced us to get fake ones. That's why I could deal with leaving our other jewelry in the safe.
