Rude DJ - AMS Entertainment - Albany NY

Grrrr I am just so steamed right now! and we can't write "reviews" until after our wedding in the vendor section.  I called to cancal an appointment with Tim as we have decided to go with another company and he hung up on me and was extremely rude!  I would have recommended other brides check him out if he hadn't been such a jerk! 

Definitely seems like the kind of guy I would not want to be dealing with.

Good that you are NOT dealing with him now, and make sure you write that review so other brides know of him and his rudeness!

Oh no! Sorry to hear that. I had a similar situation with my first venue. We put down $875.00 total which included a $250.00 security deposit. Well, when then decided that we wanted a beach wedding. When I called to cancel 5 months before our wedding date she was so rude to me. I couldn't understand why because only the $250.00 security deposit was refundable, so we lost $625.00. She was so rude and I wanted to tell her to stop being a jerk, she just got $625.00 for doing nothing!!!! I was very upset!

Sophie - Before our vendor list merged with Wedding Wire, we could post reviews before our wedding.  I pointed this out yesterday to Ms_Hammy.  She is looking into it.

That is so rude.  I'd write a review now while your experience with him is still fresh in your mind.  My wedding isn't until November, but I've written a couple of reviews already.

You are probably glad that he is not going to be your dj.  I would definitely write a review just so you can warn other brides about his attitude

I'm really shocked to hear this.  We chose to go with Tim for our wedding and he's been nothing but pleasant and helpful the whole time.  He came highly recommended from our hall, too.  As a matter of fact we just met with him the other day.  I know he and his wife just had their first child and he's the stay at home dad.  He's trying to run his business and care for their daughter, too.  Maybe you caught him at a bad time?

Moosictchr - i am glad that you have had a good experience with him.  Up until the cancellation he seemed like a good guy.  But being one of the more expensive DJs in the area I was not expecting the treatment I received. 

He has since apologized and I understand the stresses of staying at home and running a business with a baby and maybe I did catch him at a bad time, but every bride counts! even the ones who don't book with you :)

There's something rotten in the state of PW with moosictchr.  Call me a skeptic sophie, but with all the fake vendor bios running rampant on here...I wouldn't be surprised if that was them.
