So my birthday was last week and no proposal but then we had talked about going away this weekend so I was excited BUT now he's working all weekend...ugh. In my crazy sad state I looked at his checkbook today ( I know I'm bad ) and saw he had paid for jewelry insurance 3 days before my birthday. I saw the insurance pamphlet before my birthday but thought maybe he was just getting quotes. But since he actually paid doesn't that mean he bought the ring? I'm glad I don't know when he's proposing but I wish I knew why he'd get the ring so close to my birthday yet not give it to me. Just trying to be patient!!! And i promise not to snoop anymore. I just needed some kind of reassurance and seeing the insurance definitely put my mind at ease a little.

Maybe he didn't want to propose on your birthday because it's already a special day on its own :) I'm sure it's coming soon! at least you know it's coming soon, I'm still without a ring... or even signs of a ring :'(
