Not to fond of the name, but the show itself is awesome.  The girls are super fun and it's great to see their experiences. It's so nice to see plus size brides at Kleinfeld's definitely check it out its on TLC on Friday nights at 9/8c.    

I didn't understand why they had to put a name on it, but I am enjoying the show :-)

There shouldn't be a separation between types of brides as far as I am concerned. a person is a person and a bride is a bride!

Not a fan of the name!

I guess they wanted to differentiate these episodes from the norm aka Atlanta and the other seasons, but it just comes of as being degrading.  They were not showing enough plus size girls in the regular seasons so I am glad that they did this, but someone could have come up with something a little better than Big Bliss, lol.  

I am glad I am not the only one who thinks the name could use some work.  However, I am not sure I can think of a better one before my morning coffee is done, lol.  I am glad they chose to do a show of just plus size brides and their bridal experiences. 

What annoyed me was the ripping of the feathery dress.  I have never seen a regular episode of SYTTD or SYTTDA where that happened and I found it to be degrading of them to feature it on a plus size show. 

Well I don't have extended cable now so I can't full partake in watching it.  And while I appreciate those (in the entertainment industry) who feel that are making an effort to include an often excluded group, couldn't they have simply added more plus size brides to the regular rotation?  Like make sure to feature one an episode? 

Where ever you happen to be in your plus size mentality (either fine & happy with your size or hoping to lose weight or somewhere in between) I think we all just want to be included and not necessarily singled out.

I, for one, am not offended or annoyed by the name. What else would they call it? "The one where the fat girl rips the dress" or "The obligatory big girl episode." I think the name fits just fine. They are featuring larger girls, and they are finding their wedding dress bliss.
