Seeing your FI before the ceremony?

Did you, or are you planning to, see your FI before the ceremony? We will likely not see each other because our ceremony is so early in the afternoon. I kind of like the element of surprise but I'm a little afraid that I might cry when I see her.

We did not see each other before the ceremony.

Yes, we did because we wanted to take all of the bridal party and family photos before the ceremony, so that we had more time to mingle with all of our OOT guests during the cocktail reception. The photographer was able to capture the moment when DH first saw me in my gown. It was priceless! =)

My FI does not want to see me before the wedding. He wants to be surprised.

Aww, I'll keep some tissue with me and hand it off to you before she comes down the aisle ;)

We're not seeing other before the ceremony. Yes, I will be very emotional when I finally do get to see him :-). *sniff*

we plan on seeing each other. i really love the pictures of the first meeting. I think it will be nice to have some of the nerves calmed before walking down the aisle. If not, I might lose it!

We will see each other before the ceremony for pictures. But, most likely we will also stay the night together the night before as well...
We will get ready separately and then meet down by the beach about an hour or 45 minutes before the ceremony.

We didn't see each other before. I stayed the night before in a hotel too so we wouldn't see each other at all that day. When I entered the church, it was kind of scary it first, seeing all these people get up and look at me...and then I saw DH and it was all good...

The element of surprise is very appealing, but we ultimately decided we're going to see eachother before hand and do photos with the bridal party. We don't want to miss out on the fun.
