So one of the local volunteer firefighters contacted me about buying some prints of that fire that I took to put up in the firehouse....obviously they aren't the best and I told him that if he blows them up too big they will be really grainy, but he's insistant.  =)  He said I'm more than welcome to watermark them if I want or they'll put a little plaque thing on the frame with my name on it.  He only want's the files.

Now - I"m no where near pro, or even semi pro, so I wouldn't even know where to start on pricing them, and I'm no where near ready to hang out a shingle.  So I'm considering just "donating" the files to them.

Thoughts?

I think it would be a good idea to donate them. You should put a watermark on them or let them put up the plaque with your information. It could be a great way to market yourself.

That is so awesome!  I think you should donate them, don't watermark, but ask them to put your info up by the frame, like on the lower right corner off the frame on the wall. Who knows, maybe the team will let you tag along from time to time!

If you're worried about noises as you might have shot them in high ISO, I'd suggest you get a trial copy of Topaz Denoise and clean them up.  It works wonders!
