Does anyone have any great websites for food. We're having a friend cater the food. It won't be  full course sit down dinner. And we're thinking of serving all cold food. 1. it will be easier on him 2. I don't even think the venue has an oven we can use

I'm looking for delicous cold appetizers, finger food, etc I know for sure we want gazpacho. I LOVE LOVE LOVE gazpacho. Any websites for foodies. I love stuff with pictures. Our colors are red, green, orange and and yellow.  A fall wedding.

Thanks!

have you browsed epicurious.com? They have some great recipes...I'll look around for you too and see if I can come up with some things :)

Edit: You can definitely do shrimp cocktail, that'd be easy?

Hmm, don't know of any websites, but we're doing the same kind of thing. The kitchen at our venue is tiny, and we thought this would be easier on our caterer, who specializes in "deli" food anyway. However, we wanted to avoid the lunchmeat sandwich-potato chip meal that so many of my family has had (I don't want to be ultra formal with the food, but that's a little too cas for us). We're also heathy, so we thought fresh, healthy food was a good way to go. Some of our ideas for appetizers/finger food so far: miniature fruit parfaits in tall shot glasses, fruit kabobs, miniature pita bread with various dips, goat cheese bruschetta, vertical veggie platter (everything standing upright in glass containers), etc. We've also thought about serving gazpacho - great idea!

thats a neat idea! especially for a summer wedding. also keep in mind that sushi is best served cold. also a lot of nice pasta dishes could work too.  also maybe some spanish ceviche or shrimp cocktail. i like erindiras choices!
