So for you gals getting married outside and don't have the luxury of a concrete walkway.... What kind of shoes are you planning on wearing?

I"ve been told wedges are the way to go but they just aren't cute as stilletos.

Wedges. I'm wearing comfy shoes from my closet, but covering them with my dress linen and hemlace.

I'm wearing heels. It's crazy, it could easily cause trouble and it's certainly going to require some skill on my part. But what else can I do? I can't let Carrie Bradshaw down on my own wedding day.

I was going to wear flats, but my dress is just a bit long and they can't take it up more because of the pattern.  I've been looking all over for decent wedges or wide-heeled shoes and it's tough!

I'm new to this group... just found it! 

I was just looking online at this company that sells plastic covers that go over your heels so that you don't get stuck (and they protect the material).  I'm so happy now all the ladies attending the wedding will have more options.

I had my heart set on heels, but it's just not possible logistically.  Both FH and my dad have spent weeks reassuring me that it's OK to wear flats.  I ended up finding a pair of cute, wedge-type shoes that have a very low heel (think kitten heel, but more like a wedge) that are absolutely perfect.  Plus they were at Payless, so it was a steal!

I am walking on concrete but BEFORE the wedding I'll be at a park in the grass :)  But I love my heels too much :)

I wore flats.  But I would have worn flats even if i was getting married indoors.  I wanted to be comfortable and I didn't want to be taller than my husband.  :)
