We had to change our wedding date from May to October and along with that I didnt feel happy anylonger with my old inspiration board. We are now trying to find a new colour scheme and I would like to see some of yours.

Did you base your inspiration board on typical fall colours, why yes or no? Do you have a theme, why yes or no? Did you 2 decide on it together or was it your choice (or his/hers?

This was our first inspiration board:

My first inspiration was: black/white/hot pink with a damask theme. Damask cause I like it that much, and you will find it everywhere in my livingroom at home. I choose the colours cause I liked the classy look of it, and the hot pink gave it just a little bit extra. When I made this board we were still not sure if we could pull of an all outdoor wedding, or if we had to rent a reception hall. FI had nothing to do with this one lol, otherwise it wouldnt have been this board for sure ;)

Well, then we had to change our date to October, and I was not happy anylonger with our inspiration board. We decided on an all outdoor wedding, laid-back, and intimate. So we wanted to get rid of the damask (lol) and the classy colours. We dont have our own board yet, but we love these colours. (And WE are working on our own at the moment)

Here's a couple variations on my inspiration.

I also was planning on a May wedding, but because of various circumstances, it will be in October instead. The main colors are chocolate brown and sage green. It's a little more spring-ish in design, but a lot of it still works for the autumn. (For instance instead of doing green bridesmaids dresses, I'll do brown). It's a very vintage/garden theme, but we're just altering things (like the flowers) to match what's available in the fall.

eyelet: Your's is so pretty!  I have similiar colors.  We're doing chocolate brown, white, lime green.

We are trying to use jewel tones and our colors are chocolate brown, gold, and teal. My inspiration is a peacock feather.

I did not go with typical fall colors because I did not want any leaves, stick, wood decor.  It just isn't the look for me.  Instead we are doing a vintage/old hollywood glam theme.  Our colors are black & white with damask, deep red, & rhinestone accents.  Here's my wedding inspiration board with elements that will be in my wedding:
