shower theme, game?

Just wondering if anyone has any good advice about like a fun shower game or theme.

I'm having a lot of my mom's friends, the shower is you know her idea and kind of old school, which I'm ok with... but I'm just wondering how I could bring people together.

Maybe ask some of the ladies who've been married for a long time to bring a piece of marriage advice, or a story about when they were first married?

Maybe bring their own wedding pic?

Anyone do anything like this that turned out well?

It depends on what the bride likes.  My sister loves to cook, so I bought her a beautiful recipe box, and included 2 recipe cards in the invitations, and I had each person write down their favorite recipes.  Even the people that didn't come sent back their recipe cards.  I also had people bring in lingerie, and I had them wrap it in white paper but not put their names on it, and so when my sister opened it, she had to guess who gave her what.  It was funny.

For games, we played "Who knows the bride the best", "Who knows the couple the best", and "How well does the bride know the groom".  For this game, each person had to guess if the bride was going to get the question right or wrong.  As prices, I bought cute little picture frames from the 99 cent store.

I am throwing one tonight and it includes a bunch of ladies from out of town that the other BMs and I have never met.  So for games I have planned a purse scavenger hunt and wedding pictionary.  I'm giving cute little scented candles in jars as prizes.  After the shower (which starts at 7pm) dies down, we are going to start the bachelorette party and we have all the penis paraphanalia and a couple of silly 'naughty' games (pin the macho on the man and balloon game) - so it should be a fun night! 

I have a cute Word doc that has the purse scavenger hunt on it and could easily be modified.  If you want I can email it to you!
