The hotel that everyone is staying at is about a 1/2 hour from the wedding venue. We are going to provide transportation for any guests that want a ride to and from the wedding. I have no idea how many people that will be, but need to reserve the shuttles now. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions about how to figure this out???

that's a tough one... I plan on doing the same but I am using a private company so I can wait til close to my wedding date to determine this. I would think it might be best to consult them- they'll have plenty of experience and can advise you on the best plan/ your best options- hth

We're are in the same boat- I get so confused trying to figure these little things out. I have been calling around, I noticed they are willing to give better rates the more hours you need them. Its worth a shot to ask! I want to do this, but my FI thinks its a waste of money and shouldn't worry about these things.

Can you send an email to poll your guests and see who and how many would want the shuttle service? Then you can book the appropriate size vehicle for your needs.

I think a shuttle is always a good idea. It ensures your guests get there on time (and don't get lost) and makes sure anybody who has had to much to drink doesn't drive. I arranged a shuttle for my guests from the hotel where I had rooms blocked and all 40 of them made use of it. Some hotels have cargo vans you may be able to use, it certainly can't hurt to ask...
