singing while I walk down isle?

I met with my piano player last night and he has this beautiful song he wants to play while I walk down the isle but.......he also wants to sing to it! Is that weird. He sounds good, and it's in Italian, has anyone had anyone sing while they walk down the isle?

I didn't have anyone sing, but I played a song with singing recorded. I don't think thats weird at all!! In fact I think it could be quite beautiful!

But the fact that it first struck you as potentially weird is what would worry me! Don't agree to it if you don't want it! 

I think if you do though it would be lovely.

FIs cousin had a friend sing, we weren't together then but I have heard about how beautiful it was. I'd love to do something like that, but don't know anyone with a good voice!! My family were blessed with a singing voice that resembles a group of cats being strangled!! Lol

Ditto the other ladies... Do whatever you and your FI want -- and it's not weird at all to have singing when you're walking down the aisle!! My attendants walked down to "Marry Me" by Train... and that is singing :)

I had someone sing when I was walking down the aisle and it was beautiful. I think any way works but its all down to personal preference. Looking forward to hearing what you decide on

Oooh, I say go for it! I walked down to Ingrid Michaelson's version of "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You". It was really beautiful, and had all our guests in tears:)

Not weird at all..FI niece is suppose to sing while I walk down the aisle. On TV & movies they sometimes show someone singing while the bride walks down the aisle.

It sounds like a great idea , I would go through a few practice rounds first to get an idea of what things will actually be like on wedding day though .

I have sang at a lot of wedding, and I have also sang as the bride came down the aisle it is beautiful. So I say go for it!!!!
