Just wanted to update my Maggie brides-  I had my first alterations appointment recently and was told that they ordered my dress 2-3 sizes too big for me!!  I now have to pay about $400 in alterations.  Grrrr...  so in all honesty, I should have ordered a 4.  Which is the size my first dress was anyhow.  They ordered me an 8! 

I am a street size 8-10 and I ordered a 14 :( I am so disgusted with the thought of it. I actually asked my consultant to cut the size out when it came in lol

I am a street size 6/8 and ordered a 8. I think  a 6 would have been a good size due to losing 20 pounds but the owner of the shop said a 6 would be too small for my bust?  I have had a breast augmentation but the waste size in a 6 woudl fit.

she advised you have three inches to take in or out so if i lose an addtional 3 inches I can still tighten the 8 to fit a 26 waist, this was a a great bridal shop Kays Bridal in Simi Valley ca, they sell mostley Maggie  dresses and have been in business for over 20 years so i trust Kay the owner.

does that make sense.
