I have just a little more than 5 months to go and I'm ALREADY having non-stop dreams about the wedding. I consider myself to be very organized and pretty well prepared...so what's to worry about?...lol!

Just wondering, how many other brides are experiencing this? Does it keep you from a restful night too? Is there a "cure" for this? :)

So funny but just last night I noticed the same thing....I woke up at 3:30 AM dreaming about rsvps. It wasn't a "bad" dream. I just figured it shows me how wedding focused/oriented I am!

Yep, dreaming or thinking about something all the time, some good some bad.

I'm sure you two have nothing to worry about since your on it haha I still have so much to do- I'm staring to freak out! I thought this was supposed to be fun???

HolyMoly- some of it is more fun than others.

Cake tastings: fun!
dress shopping: fun!

signing contracts: not so fun!

one thing that has helped me keep it more fun is involving people. My cousin has gone with me to tastings and some other meetings and it ends up being a girl day out. I took a friend to a bridal fair and she had quite a few cocktails; another fun day. And the same friend is addressing my STDs (she has GREAT handwriting) so I told her we can make a date out of it: I will order a great lunch, bring some champagne etc So you just try to make it fun or yeah, it feels like a job....

Thanks, I don't know what it is but I feel "guilty" or something b/c I feel this way. I feel lost and burnt out on it- which really takes away why I am doing it in the first place, you know? I hope things start to change, or this wedding "process" feels like a waste. I feel if I could get my last two vendors squared away I would feel relieved and less pressure, so then I can start the fun stuff...

Right after we got engaged, I had a dream that we showed up for our City Hall ceremony and it turned out I had forgotten to make the appointment! And I was wearing rubber flip-flops.

If you're an active dreamer, there's probably no way not to have wedding anxiety dreams. However, I find that working out before dinner helps me sleep more soundly - and most of us need to work out more anyway!

I knew I wasn't alone :)

Last night, I had dreams continuously about the wedding. I don't remember much, except that it didn't seem at all like my plans.

HolyMoly...Take it one day at a time. Don't overwhelm yourself by constantly looking at the 'overall' checklist. Instead, make a list of tasks/items to check off with in the next month and next week. This the only way I've kept my sanity...especially with all my DIY projects. Evenings are spent on the computer finalizing the designs of invites, menus, programs, etc. I've given myself deadlines along the way so I stay on track. With all the build-up and how hectic things can be shortly before the wedding, its no wonder brides can turn into Bridezillas!

it's ok, I'm like that too and I'm not getting married til next year! Just too many ideas of 'oh, i could do this' and 'i can do that' and 'hmm, would that even work out logistically?' For me, I just write it all out because it's like getting it out of my system. Then I find I can sleep a little easier.

I like to plan everything out to the 'T', too, but I think because there's usually something that ends up going wrong, there's always that worry. I'm afraid I'm going to freak out about a small thing and not enjoy the day...(hmm, note to self: but those mini bottles of wine)

I have the dreams too, but I sleep all through the night and wake up freaked out... The other night I dreamt that my veil got lost on the way, the florist showed up as we were walking down the aisle, the photographer was MIA. I don't know why, but these are the things I dream about the most... Although, every once in a while I dream about my scrumptious cake. I can not wait for that! LOL

HolyMoly~ One thing that helps me is to take a full day break from it. It helps you get refreshed and excited about planning again. I also go to visit my grandma every once in a while, and even though there is wedding talk, there is no wedding planning so it is a nice break.

I can't sleep - the wedding is a little more than 2 months away and I am having nightmares about all the things I haven't done yet! There's so much to do and so little time.
