I have been looking for a venue for our wedding ceremony/reception.We want a small (40 guests)and super casual wedding in Los Angeles area. (Down Town, Silver Lake, Mid-Wilshire area is the best, but its not priority.)Have you guys ever watched movie "In her shoes"?? The wedding is my ideal! So, it could be a restaurant w/cute garden/patio or a park. I would very appreciate it if anyone could give us ideas!! oh, BTW our budget is tight :)

Calamigos is pretty pricey - about $5-7K to rent it out!

I heard Bistro Garden in Sherman Oaks does very nice weddings!

I'm actually getting married at Calamigos and they actually don't have a rental fee - they price per person.  The only thing is I think they're minimum is 75, so even if you have less, you have to pay for 75 people.

If you like In Her Shoes, you should DEFINITELY DEFINITELY check out Marvimon and Smog Shoppe.  Super cool industrial type garden spaces.

Cafe Santorini is cute! Calamingos Ranch looks really great, too.

Marvimon and Smog Shoppe are really ideal, but its pretty pricey....hmmm
