allison-- i LOVE your idea!!!

the church actually offered to print programs for us. it wont be fancy at all, but like it was said before, most of them get thrown away, and i dont have time to make something that people wont appreciate! (when i say appreciate, i mean frame because if i did them my self, i would go all out!!)

I used Microsoft word. Used a landscape page. Draw triangle (3 per page) and them inserted text in each of them. Printed them. Cut them. Assembled and voilà! Pretty easy!

The hardest part was definitly trying to make the text fit in triangles. Other steps took time but definitly easy to do :).

@ pavez19 I'm afraid that I wouldn't be able to cut them even.  I have to start working on something.  I get married July 28th.

We did the petal photo 3373825-1 We did the petal/fan programs because our wedding is outside and want people to be able to fan themselves if it's hot. We just bought a kit from Michael's with a coupon so I think we spent $40 for all of them (80 I think).

I plan to DIY the programs (ppl including myself throw these things away after so no need to spend tons of money, my advice keep it simple). I've already walked through program w/FI, officiant and venue and coordinator in terms of the flow. I purchased some ivory linen paper from Office Depot, its the resume looking paper w/my coupon, nice black card stock from Joann's on sale and ribbon from Michael's. I'm printing on a 8X11, I created 2 columns in landscape view to type up info in Word. Then printing this on linen paper and cutting in 3's the info w/cutting board. I will then cut black card stock a little bigger then place the linen paper on top of card stock and affix w/whole punch and bow. I got inspired by a simple design on PW and watched some youtubes on programs. I can post pics once I'm done. Good luck!

I designed these and put them together all in about an hour. I put the officient, wedding party, time and place, a few words from me, special thanks, and of course a butterfly since I  had them on my cake, in my bouquet, and in my centerpieces. I just printed  them on white paper and used a glue stick to apply them to red cardstock. Then I punched 2 holes in the top and tied the ribbon. It was super easy and cute.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  I designed these and photo 3373839-1
