and, he asked him to wait SIX MONTHS and ask him again. Plus, apparently, he wants a five-year plan and everything. Am I the only one that thinks this is slightly ridiculous? FFI wasn't planning on telling me, but he decided it might be better to tell me, so that we could come up with a five-year plan. We already had one, but I guess he was really nervous (can't say that I blame him. lol) and it can out more like "We might to this" and "I guess we could do that." We've also decided for sure what we want to do now, whereas before we were sure what he wanted to do as far as work and everything, but not what I wanted to do. So now he's planning to write an (apparently rather lengthy) email to my dad explaining it a bit better.

Basically, we would like to get married in February or March of 2012. He's living 10 hours away so I'll move there and finish the courses I'll need to get certified as a Teacher's Aide. He will keep working at his job and as soon as I'm finished my courses, I'll start working as well. He would like to get an apprenticeship as a mechanic within the next few years.

Anyways, this probably doesn't make a lot of sense since I'm super tired and kind of just babbling, but I kind of just needed to tell someone, since I can't really tell anyone else. Thanks for listening, girls. :)
