So Shaken Right Now

Somebody just 'broke into' my apartment. I am home early from work today, and it is really hot outside so I had the door open. I should have locked the screen :( :( I was taking off my nail polish in the bathroom and I hear something. I thought it was outside then it gets louder. So I think maybe Trent is home. BUT IT IS A RANDOM shady looking GUY! :( Luckily he didn't have any weapons, but he played dumb. He said "Mike told me to come over." F*ck no he didnt. Anyways, now my phone is gone. I just can't believe this happened. I'm so sad right now. Why didn't I lock the door? 

OMG Elise...are you alright?!?! And did you call the police??? I can't believe a psycho was in your appartment...Luckily he wasn't armed.  I can totally understand why you are shaken...who wouldn't? Hope the autorities get their hands on this robber soon enough...take care of yourself hun...and make sure to lock your door tonight. Big hugs.

Oh my gosh, Elise...are you okay?  I'm so glad he didn't hurt you, but I do hope the police catch the guy.  If you haven't already, you may want to let your apartment manager know so they can be on the look out for him.

Yes, I just finished reporting it to the police, and we are going to let the landlord know. I just can't believe it. I'm ok, it's just the phone, I'm just more scared than anything.

Yes, maybe you should have locked the door, but really don't do this to yourself.  You and your place were violated!  Bottom line! 

I'm sorry your cel phone was taken. I know so much of our life lives in our phones, but thankfully it was just your cel phone. I'm so relieved to know you weren't physically injured!  I know the mental issues will be force to be dealt with and you will deal with them.  Don't let the what if's eat at you.  That what if game is hell on your head!

ohh nooo!!! i seriously cant get over how many (excuse my language) assholes we have wondering around these days!! im so glad nothing was broken and that you are ok!! hopefully they will find him and be able to get you your phone back. cuteboy2me is right, the bottom line is that you and your place were violated! its not something you should beat yourself up over. thats just disgusting. i hope when trent comes home, you are able to relax!!

Oh my Goodness!! I am so sorry you had to go through that. It is not your fault. HE came into your apartment without an invitation. Just because your door is open does not mean that anyone can just walk in! I am glad you are ok and that he had no weapon.
