So I just started tracking what I eat on livestrong.com. It's a really great site and I'm liking it so far. But everyday I go over my recommended sodium amount. I don't even know where the extra sodium is coming from! I mean I didn't have soup or the typically high sodium foods today but I still went over. I want to cut out a bunch of the sodium because it makes me retain water; I just don't know how. Help ladies!

Do you drink a lot of diet soda? There is a TON of sodium in it.

I've been trying to lessen the amount of sodium in my diet too.  I have to prepare most of my own meals and not eat out because they put salt in everything.

I only drink water. Like ever. It's the only thing I drink.

What about cheses? Sausages? Canned foods? pickles? Olives?Anything processed like even peanut butter has tons of sodium. Does it show you sodium for each single thing you eat? Look at that and see what you can cut
