some of us may already be coming up on our one year anni -- what do you gals have planned?

i told dh - we have to celebrate 2x  =)  hahaha!!

Ours was last month...MAN...time has FLOWN!  We did an early weekend getaway to Palm Springs (we decided on our honeymoon that we would take mini trips for anniversaries rather than buy gifts).  We stayed at Riviera Resort and Spa, got massages, went to an amazing dinner, and just did a whole lot of lounging!  Then on the actual anniversary day, I recreated our entire wedding reception meal - salad, two main courses, sides, etc and set the table with brown linens, our wedding menu, table number - the whole cheesy nine yards!  And we got our complimentary anniversary mini cake from our wedding baker.  OH!!  And my mom suprised us by calling our wedding florist and asking her to recreate our tall centerpiece.  Then she had the florist deliver it to our house!!  Let me tell you, it was SO trippy to open the door and have your wedding florist standing there a year later!  

aaawww!!!!  that sounds so so so sweet!   i cannot believe it's been a year already?  CONGRATS!

ooooooh i cannot wait to get an anniversary mini cake!!!!!

we're thinking of taking a mini trip as well but haven't decided where. we still have 6 months to go, so we have time.

we also still plan to celebrate our dating anniversary, which is on jan 2nd. we usually have a nice dinner and maybe see a broadway show.

We're going out to dinner to a 'special to us' restaurant, it's one of the few truly classy places here and they have some fab wine *smiles*. Our anniversary is a week before Christmas so we're getting close!

Our 1 year is in two weeks! We just discovered that there is a middle eastern restaurant here on post, so we'll be going out for dinner for the first time in 8 months!

Mexico!!  we're going to shoot a destination wedding in May, even though our anniversary is in April, we're going to extend our trip, and after we work the wedding, we're going to the Excellence Riviera Maya....we stayed at the Excellence in the D.R. for our honeymoon!  whoo hoo!!
