Ladies,
Not sure if any of you, your FIs, husbands, family, etc. participate in this event, but I wanted to share it with everyone. It's called St. Baldrick's Foundation and it is a charity event that my FI participates in every year. The guys
[&& some girls too] shave their heads in solidarity with children who have cancer && raise critical funds for childhood cancer research. I'll be going this year && helping out. It's so much fun to see the kids interacting
with the firemen. It's their chance to escape their cancer for a split moment && enjoy life. My bestfriend [also a bridesmaid] has cancer && is currently undergoing chemo. She shaved her head because of the hair loss a few months back
&& will be shaving her head again for this cause. If I could shave my head && have my hair grow back by the wedding, I totally would. :'(
