CONGRATS girls!! =) YES!! have been planning ever since!! just rough ideas nothing final though! =)

yep!! we have been throwing ideas around and we are going to be booking the church and reception in a few months!! and we have our guest list already done =D

I'm doing a little here and there.  We are trying to decide on a wedding planner/day of coordinator.  We already have our photographer.  Fiance and I have discussed our budget, venue options, area, ideas, and drafted a guest list, etc.  We decided to hold off on making anything too final until after January... we'll start making more final decisions in spring 2010.

We have our venue & church booked as of last month. We're aiming to book photo & video in December to have 09 prices. 

I don't have a color scheme finalized yet and I am starting to look at gowns to see what I like... will go shopping this summer when there is 11 months to go til the wedding. 

Just booked photo & video, we got a great deal. I also just bought some vintage hankies on eBay.

Anyone planning? 

I have won some giveaways and have a garter, flip flops for the beach or honeymoon, and some gifts for the girls in our bridal party... I've purchased a guest book I was able to get for 99cents that I'll embellish, won a photography contest, hired a local photographer to do our engagement session this spring, and that's about it!  I'm already purchasing little DIY things here and there.  I scored a great deal on some 'signage' after Halloween at Michaels that I will DIY, and using Michaels coupons for various things needed for the wedding and our engagement party that is next weekend.  We start our venue search in February and shortly after that we'll book our catering and a videographer.  Everything else will come a little later... one step at a time :)

You know after reading this I am so happy I don't feel like a crazy person anymore! I kept thinking to myself that "it's to early to start, it's to early hold off till April 2010".

Mind you I have booked my venue, ceremony, bought the dress (should receive 05/01), had my STD's already printed. I bought my "Will you be my BM's" cards and just dieing to send them just don't know when! I was thinking this weekend! HAHAHA

I have bought A LOT of DYI project stuff that I have been adding to my "Wedding Corner" as FI calls it! Won't touch till April!

I have a PW checkilist in BIO that has stuff marked off and my paper copy I keep with me is a little more in depth with exact dates to when each and every task needs to be completed. I know a little OCD but I swear it works it eases my nerves to know that I have a deadline to make each month from here on out!

I have a rough idea of how I would like things and have a few top venues in mind - but nothing locked in yet.

I've been having fun researching and just watching my ideas evolve - and I'm trying to remain flexible as everything really depends on how much we can save.

They only thing I am sad about is that we haven't offically had an engagement party yet!!! My brother is getting married in March so we've been trying to keep things low key - BUT I REALLY WANT A PARTY FOR BLAISE & ME!!! (T_T)

Our date is set for 8/20/2011, and ever since he proposed I've been planning, hahahaha, I have the venue picked out, but it sucks cause they won't hold it for you if it's over a year in advance, so I have to wait until August to put our deposit, but we got the best bang for our bucks with that place, oh so graciously referred by my MOH!!

I have the color, theme and general idea all chosen, lol....I'm kind of flighty by nature, so if I don't set it in stone for myself, I'll have changed my mind 22 hundred times by now!!!

My MOH and I are so super crafty and creative, we're going to DIY as much as we can!

Invites, save the dates, centerpieces and bouquet, favors, and the runners!!!

I had to blow the dust off my sewing machine, and say "Hello Old Friend", lol

We just found our house, and we move in Feb 15th, so we'll have a housewarming party soon after, and an engagement party in August so it will be a WHOLE YEAR before our wedding!!!!

Wow, I feel a little better too.  I thought it might be too early to start planning, but it actually looks like I may be a little behind!  We are doing a backyard wedding so we'll be working on two different projects at once...getting our backyard prepared (right now it's just weeds and dog poo)...and the wedding planning.  That was the main reason behind having a wedding in 2011.  My friends think i'm crazy for waiting so long, but I thought August 2011 was perfect!  So far, the only thing i've purchased was a few items from Michael's, $1.00 lanterns and cute sparrow tealight holders, I bought some cake stands at TJ Maxx, but I think i'm going to return them.  I love PW, i've found so many great ideas here...i'll be doing my own flowers, invitation, favors...just about everything will be diy, except for the food, since i'm not that great of a cook!
