OMG YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!
Don't stress yourself out too much! Learn from not only your preceptor but the other nurses on the unit, you're there to learn while you're on orientation. You'll figure out while your training who your "go to" people are going to be for
help/questions once you are on your own. That may or may not include your preceptor - keep and open mind but also realize that he/she may not be the kind of person you exactly like - get what you need from them and move on in your career.
Ask a ton of questions!!!!!!!!!!! If you need to (I did) look things up on your off time - I know you don't want to make work your whole life - especially now that school is over - but honestly, the best nurses I know are always learning and
asking questions!! Don't EVER be afraid to ask for help!!!!!!
I hope we can help you in some way through your transition into your nursing career!!!!!
DEEP BREATH AND GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'LL DO GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
