Who is sending STD's?  FI doesnt understand why we need them.  I dont seem to be expressing myself good enough with him.  Any help?

I'm sending them! My FI doesnt understand either so I told him to just let me handle it its a wedding thing he wouldnt understand! haha it worked :) Not really sure what you can do to make him understand maybe show him some from other weddings then maybe he will see that it is something people do and to just let you do it.

Haha, I am having the same problem.  They just don't understand... I have a couple good reasons for save the dates...

-I am from Ontario, but live out East now.  I have to let my family in Ontario know my wedding date in advance, so they can hopefully booked their vacation and come to my wedding.  Most people have to book their vacation far in advance.

- My sister is getting married a couple months before me.  We want people to know both our wedding dates in advance.

I also had to explain the importance on response cards to my fiance.  He wanted to make a website for people to RSVP.  Fine for him maybe, his friends are all computer programmers and he has a very small family... most of my guests are older and don't own computers... Haha.

Silly boys... Hahaha.

My FI didn't understand either, but I explained to him the importance of making sure people were able to plan ahead for our three-day weekend wedding (Labor Day).  Not to mention people coming for overseas...

I did them, I am working on sending them out sometime next week.

I ordered STDs abt three weeks ago and they come in TOMORROW!! We are so excited. We only did them because we are having a somewhat destination wedding and we wanted everyone to plan to be there! Plus, ours is over labor day wknd so we knew we had to book everyone in advance. ;-)
