my mind is driving me crazy today! i went off bcp at the beginning of december and had a period a few days later. at the end of december i was down with a flu. i think i didn't o then, which would make sense. that's why i would either expect oing now or af to arrive nowish. however, i have no signs at all. during bcp i still felt my cycle. but now? NOTHING! even my cm is very strange and doesn't give me any hints. i'm so confused and start to worry, that my cycle will not regulate quickly.

can i do anything about this?

Try not to stress you to much. Many women often have to wait a long time till AF arrived the first time after stopping BCP. You couldn't count the period in December as normal because there were still hormones in your body.
I must think of Ashley who have waited more than 5 month before AF arrived the first time after stopping BCP.
I know it's really frustrating when you want to start TTC and you didn't have a regular cycle. Is it possible that you could maybe already preggo? My SIL went of from her BCP in August in got preggo directly in the first cycle. Are you temping or use OPK's?

FX that AF will arrive soon and that your TTC journey - which will hopefully be a short one :) can begin!!! :)

don't stress!  it is totally normal for the body to take time to adjust after bcp, esp if you have been on them for a while.  your hormones just need time to get back in order! keep your head up!

the only reason i'm stressing about is that when i went off bcp before my first pregnancy i got preggo in the first cycle. and i was expecting, not to get preggo, but to get back on track immediately. specially because i was not taking the pill but had a coil which means very little hormones. how naive!

it annoys me that this bothers me so much...

i'm not temping or taking opks. but i have decided to start temping tomorrow to know what is going on.

try not to stress ( yea its so much easier said than done) i waited 5 months for AF to show up after my BCP period :(hopefully you return to normal sooner

yesterday, i was really ridiculous. i took a pregnancy test even though there is no chance that it would have shown a bfp. but i just HAD to hahaha. anyhow, yesterday i had kind of watery but milky white cm and today i certainly feel a twinge on my left ovary. and my temperature this morning was 98.4 (36.9 celcius degrees, i live in the uk) which seems pretty high to me compared to the temperatures i measured at the beginning of december. i made sure we bd yesterday (and maybe today ;) ). so we'll see in like two weeks time...

i'm not really stressed about getting preggo right now. i just want to know my cycle is regulating.
