I was thinking Royal Caribbean. Does anyone have other suggestions?

Years ago, I went on a cruise with my best friend and we cruised on Norwegian Cruise Lines.  I loved the ship we were on and we were treated very well.

I have also sailed on Carnival and they were good.

We went on Carnival for our honeymoon in September. It was our first cruise, and we had a lot of fun! I've heard Royal Caribbean is better, but I'm not sure on what basis. I think either way, you'll have a blast!!

I've only sailed on Carnival, and like elise, I have heard that Royal Caribbean is better. Mostly I've heard they have more activies, and are a bit more "classy". Having said that, I have had an AMAZING time on each of our cruises!! We are leaving for another next Friday.

You should research what kind of activities you want to do and see what each ship could offer. DH and I decided we absolutely had to have a ship with a nice adults only area, which Carnival as on most (if not all) of their ships. It is lovely to sit in the sun all day without kids running around and splashing. We didn't mind it all the time, but sometimes, especially since we do not have kids, it was nice to get away from the chaos.

Either way, you cannot go wrong with a cruise!! They are a blast!

I have been on one with Royal Carib and it was great. I met a couple who had been cruising for 14 years and they said Carnival is the cruise to go on when you are young and in the party scene. Royal is a more relaxed, adult or family friendly.

I've cruised on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Disney. I think it depends on what kind of experience you want to have.

DH and I prefer Celebrity, it is more upscale and adult oriented. There are plently of activites onboard if you want to participate but you don't feel forced or lazy if you just want to hang out. The solsitce class ships are truly amazing and the food is to die for.

Royal Caribbean is a nice line as well, there are onboard activites and depending on the ship you sail on there is a wave simulator, mini golf, etc. The dining is okay, nothing out of the world. I prefer Royal Caribbean's older ships to the their newer ones.

Disney is centered around children, there are a lot of adult only areas but it doesn't make up for the number of children onboard.

*Feel free to ask me any questions, I'd be happy to help.

We are going on Norweigan for our honeymoon.  My parents have sailed on both Royal Caribbean and Carnival and they liked them.  The reason we ended up picking Norweigan was of the great upgrades and offers they had when we booked.  We also picked it because we wanted a cruise that was a bit more "upscale" without having the price to go with it.  We tried to do a ton of research and watched many specials on cruises and that's what we decided.  We have been reading a lot of reviews on the boats and different cruise lines to try and get a good overall opinion of what it would be like.

I have sailed on Norwegian and enjoyed it very much. I would definitely choose them or Royal Caribbean, but like amsa2010 said, I think it largely depends on what type of experience you are looking to have.

One thing I really liked about Norweigan Cruise Line is the staff. They were always right there and when Ricky (6 months old at the time) rolled off the bed and his nose started to bleed and I called the ships doctors they were AMAZING. I was all panicked. The doctor calmed me down and told me he was going to be just fine.

Oh and if you think you will hear screaming crying kids think again! They put them into a seperate area of the ship and had a "CAMP" if you will. You only saw them at meal times and I promise my kids did not fuss or cry about going to their programs they loved it!!!

I loved the shows and the dinners. I am so looking forward to sailing them again this summer.
