It must be that you are in a different location because they bloom during late summer/fall here in Canada. Weird.

I'm in MD and they are late summer, fall flowers here. I'm using them for my June wedding.

at home (IN) they are a really big fall flower, people use them to decorate with their pumpkins and corn stalks :)
