My father also passed away.  I am going to have my uncle (his brother) walk me down.  I think it means a lot to him that he can be there for me.  :-)

I pray my father will be mentally stable to walk me down the aisle.  I love him so much!  He suffers from mental illness and he has good days, and bad days.  He was supposed to come visit me Sunday and got depressed, so I didn't see him.  It would mean the world to me because my mom passed away last year in April.  I am also going to have a picture of her on my bouquet.  If my father is unable to do so, his brother, my Uncle Peter, said he would be honored to walk me down the aisle and wear his military uniform.
