Survival kit for vendors

I saw a bride a while back on a website who made a survival kit for her vendors. I wish I could remember her site so I could credit her ;( but anyways, she made little gift bags for her photographer and videographer and put snacks in it like bottled water, energy bars, candy, a little sandwich, etc to keep them energized throughout the day.

I think it's an awesome idea and wanted to share it with you all. After all, a happy fed vendor will be more motivated to take better pictures or video and they will also know that you're thoughtful. I guess it's a like a thank you gift for capturing your day!

HOly cow?!  Really?!!!  I mean, I've never ever heard of that and I'm actually just a little bit teary eyed reading that.  There have been brides that said we didn't need to eat or have water even! "Since we are paying them thousands of dollars" - uh, yeah sweetie, we don't get to keep all that in our personal bank account!

Yes this idea is definitely on my TO DO list. I've been very lucky to click instantly with all my vendors and they all want to make sure i'm taken care of. My photographer recently emailed me and asked to have dinner to catch up on wedding details! the owner for the entertainment company emailed me and gave me a $200 discount about a week ago, and my videographer is one of mike's friends so he'll definitely be putting in his best effort.

How can anyone go all day working and NOT eat? I get into GREMLIN mode when i'm hungry!

if they are working hard to make my day special, and i'm spending all this time to make our guests feel welcomed, then i'm going to make sure my vendors are taken care of too!

That is awesome! Thanks for sharing this!!! I want to do something like this for my vendors, too. They will be joining us for dinner of course, but I wanted to show them a little extra appreciation and a little goodie bag is a great idea! 

@doolittle -- I can't even IMAGINE treating people that way!!! Can't believe you have to deal w/ that!! Our caterer told me that I wouldn't believe some of the Bridezillas he deals with... :/

We are already going to feed our vendors (they will eat what our guests eat) but this gives an extra special something to show your appreciation.
