it seems like the breakers are having a harder time this season...

Yeah and I thought Evans brother for sure was gonna be a shoe-in ... though I donty think he really holds his own well in the other styles .... he was so stiff doing ballroom .... but one thing that irks me is the people they just send home vs the people they allow to dance for their life ....

There was one guy (white guy with light brown hair )  sorry I dont remember names yet .... that did a phenomenal solo .. but he was sent right home .... and that "legend"  dude gets to fight for his life ..... also a guy that reminded me a lot of Brandon got sent hom .... I dont understand what their criteria is to get to fight for your life .... grrrr  .... I can't wait for top 20 time ...this is frustrating for me this season ;)

the white guy with light brown hair - i think i know who you're talking about. was he from the new orleans auditions? on one hand, i was surprised he was cut so quickly because he did have a great solo. but on the other hand, it seems like there are soooo many contemporary dancers that they really have to be spectacular AND pick up other styles well....

but i'm sure the judges' selection process has a lot to do with casting a group of dancers that are diverse in style and background, not just individual dancers' abilities. frustrating... but i'm guessing it's just a taste of the reality of the dancer's life!

by the way, i just noticed that one of the ballroom dancers that has made it through so far (iveta - she was wearing a green sequiny outfit and had blond hair in a bob) is facebook friends with my salsa instructor :)
