Tan lines...

So I've been spending a lot of time at the pool lately and although I have a strapless swimsuit top, there are obviously areas that aren't really legal to expose in public :D.  Hence, I find myself with fairly pale areas that WILL be exposed in my b-pics in a week and a half.  Did anyone else have a similar issue?  Would carefully applied self-tanning lotion solve my problem or be a giant disaster?  Any advice would be very much appreciated :)

I'm having the same issue..my bpics are a week from tomorrow and I couldnt help myself from hitting the beach this weekend. I believe I'm going to spray tan the day before. A light tan since most of me is already tan but I want it to blend somewhat. Wish I was more help but our bpics are so close!

I think you shouldn't do the self-tanning lotion.  If you are very good at it, you can give it a shot, like now, just to try it out.  I definitely wouldnt try it the night before though.

Self tanning scares me!! Have fun during your sessions ladies!

Most photographers can edit that. But I agree stay away from self tanning lotions unless you know what you're doing go to a professional for that
